Round Mountain Park Day Hike
when Trip Report : February 20, 2022
where Globe
the hike     Round Mountain Park is a 386 acre park in Globe, AZ, with 6 different hiking trails. There are picnic ramadas, benches, and a visitor center with restrooms. I don’t think our club has hiked here yet. But it is listed in Mare Czinar’s book Phoenix Magazine - The Hike Book Volume 1, so I thought we should give this park a try!
The trails are rated as easy to moderate, and we will see boulders, shallow caves and a rock formation known as “Bull’s Eye Rock.” At the highest point there is a 360-degree view of the Pinal Mountains and an ore pit.
The plan is for us to hike all 6 trails.
