Oak Spring Trail Day Hike

where Pine
the hike     This hike starts at the Pine Trailhead and then goes west across hwy 87. The trail goes through a beautiful wooded landscape for 3 miles to Oak Spring and then turns north up Oak Spring Canyon. We will hike up Oak Spring Canyon for about 3/4 of a mile and then return the way we came. Trailhead is accessible by car. Bring 2 quarts of water and snack. This is part of the Arizona Trail, passage 26.
    We will stop for a meal on the way back.

meet 7:30 AM in the parking lot of the Target Center on the south side of Shea Blvd., about a mile west of Highway 87 (Beeline). For those leaving their cars behind, please park up against the northwest curb away from Starbuck’s.
drive 85 miles from Target Center to Pine Trailhead.
