This hike is in the San Francisco Peaks area, northwest of Mount Elden.
It should be awesome to see forestry (wildlife?), and so on from its saddles,
ridges, creeks, lesser peaks, etc. The great accomplishment will be to summit
of Mount Elden, looking south to Flagstaff, east to US 89, and northwest to
San Francisco Peaks.

7:15 AM by the M&I Bank on the southwest corner of I-17 and Bell Road,
across the driveway from Denny’s. For those leaving their vehicles
behind, please park them away from the bank and away from Denny’s.
We will take off by 7:30.

We’ll re-convene in Flagstaff and drive in caravan to the trailhead.
Be at the Target parking lot at the corner of Milton and University (just
north of I-17) in the corner of the lot next to the traffic light, by 9:30 AM.
