Thanks to Lin Chao, the Executive Committee, Bill Zimmermann, and many volunteers, for making this party a success and keeping it running smoothly!

Fifty Trailblazers and guests assembled at Leisure World in Mesa for the celebration. I was one of the last to arrive, so I had to park ’way down at the end. All my Trailblazer friends were there, including some I hadn’t seen in quite a while.

Food was served. The food line was sure popular! I sat at a table with Jeannie Van Lew and Mike Wargel. Both gave speeches to the assembly.

Lin was the first to speak. She welcomed everybody and introduced the other speakers and gave out awards. Lifetime membership was given to Chuck Parsons, Rudy Arredondo, Michael Humphrey, Jim Buyens, and me. The top hiker in 2020 was Li Li. The top leader in 2020 was Tamar Gottfried. Lin welcomed new members, new leaders, and volunteers for this party.

After the last of the speakers had sat down, the Trailblazers milled around and talked for a while.
