the hike     The club did this hike two years ago and I was the trip leader. Unfortunately, I tripped and discovered the rocks are harder than my head and ending up cutting my hike short. I want to go back and do this hike all the way.
We’ll take the express route on this scenic one-way hike between First Water and Peralta trailheads. No auto shuttle! Two parties will hike in opposite directions and meet near Aylors Caballo Camp for lunch and exchange of car keys. Highlights include world class views of Weaver’s Needle and the Superstition Ridgeline, colorful Palomino Mountain, the patchwork of East Boulder Canyon, and historic Pinion Camp as we complete our trans-wilderness journey.
