Treasure Loop and Praying Hands Day Hike

where Lost Dutchman State Park
the hike     Let’s enjoy the beautiful Superstition Mountain in the cool weather before Christmas. On this hike, you’ll get to experience some of the most scenic parts of the mountain and explore several different trails—from Jacob’s Crosscut to Treasure Island, then up to Praying Hands and the Prospector View. We’ll then return to Jacob’s Crosscut to complete the loop.
    Parking and restrooms are available near the trailhead. Some sections of the hike may be rocky and challenging, but the views are absolutely worth it.
    There is some construction in the park, so parking maybe limited.
    Gaiters optional. Bring plenty of fluids, snacks and lunch.

Take US 60 east to exit 196 - Hwy 88 (Idaho Road) north past the Goldfield Ghost Town to the Lost Dutchman State Park on the right.
