| the hike |
This is the best South Mountain trail for petroglyph views,
and has a great mixture of scenery and grade.
It’s a great hike for exercise, since the first portion of the
trail is relatively flat, and steadily climbs uphill but isn’t
all that steep. The view along the trail is nice.
We can see the city of Phoenix and surroundings at Dobbins Lookout
Required: • Sturdy hiking boots • At least 3 liters of water • Hat, sunblock, sunglasses Recommended: • Lunch or snacks • Hiking Sticks • Camera • Your smiles :) |
