the hike |
There are many ways to do this hike. On the east side you can take Packsaddle
Road, the Orohai or the Green Thumb Trail. See GPS map.
On the west side you can take FR 1356, FR 10; Bulldog Canyon Trail, horse trail,
Wolverine Pass and Powerline Trails, Bulldog Wash Ridge (off trail), or the Blue
Ridge Trail.
The southern Goldfields are rich in volcanic peaks, Sonoran vegetation and wildlife. You’ll be amazed. There are two options: 1. I’m going to take the Orohai Trail, FR 1356, the Bulldog Canyon, horse, Wolverine Pass, and Powerline Trails. 2. Afterwards, Debbie Rowray will lead an exploratory hike on the Blue Ridge Trail and Bulldog Wash Ridge, for another five miles. |
