the hike |
Two colorful ridges and two amazing arches will cheer you on this one-way hike
in the southern Goldfields. We’ll start on the gentle Blue Ridge Trail
through the historic Gold Country, then leave civilization and trails behind as
we wind our way through brightly colored slickrock on our off-trail walk to
Willow Springs Canyon. Gloves, cameras, and an adventurous spirit are essential.
This hike is described in
Footloose from Phoenix,
by Ted Tenny, pages 63-75.
