| the hike |
Watson Woods to Peavine Trail and out to the cove and viewing some of the streams. Mostly unshaded with some places to
stop in shade for snacks. Hikers will get great views of the lake, streams and Granite Dells. This trail links into many
other trails for those who want to do more. The Peavine Trail is an old railroad so very flat grade.
This is a great hake for birders. Expect to see herons and maybe eagles.
For those coming to book signing good places to eat near the bookstore are Momma Pizza, The Raven and Murphys.
Book signing and reading: At 2 pm I will read sections of my book and then do book signings for those buying the book
Falling Into Congo, an environmental adventure novel.
