This will be a leisurely and enjoyable hike .
Bring a flashlight for the stroll in a festive and cheerful atmosphere to view over 1000 luminarias and spectacular lights and decorations in the backyards that surround the lake. We may see a choir and/or entertainers too. If you can, please bring non-perishable food items for ASCEND to help our communities most vulnerable. We will probably make 2 laps around the lake on a paved trail for a total of 0.5 mile. It will be crowded, so the pace will be slow. |

| meet | At 4:30 pm, we will meet at Oakwood Country Club (24218 S. Oakwood Blvd) in Sun Lakes. We can enjoy happy hour prices on snacks and beverages on the patio overlooking the fountain at Stone and Barrel. Restrooms will be available at Stone and Barrel. At 6:00 pm we will carpool to the Diamond Lake Luminaria Walk about 1 mile away in Sun Lakes. Enter Sun Lakes from Riggs Road either from Sun Lakes Blvd. if coming from the west or Robson Blvd if coming from the east. Free parking. |
