The Highline Trail (TR 31) provides 51 miles of spectacular views.
The historic trail was established in the late 1800s to link various homesteads
and ranches under the Mogollon Rim.
It was designated a National Recreation Trail in 1979.
We will hike from Two Sixty Trailhead west to the junction with the Drew Trail
and return by the same route.

7:15 AM in the parking lot of the Target Center on the south
side of Shea Blvd., about a mile west of Highway 87 (Beeline).
For those leaving their cars behind, please park up against
the north curb away from Target.
We will leave promptly at 7:30 AM.

Take 87 north to Payson, then 260 east for 27 miles to the 260 Trailhead
(right off the road, any type of vehicle is appropriate).
Facilities include a toilet, corral, and large parking area.
