| the hike |
This is an exploratory canyon hike up on the Mogollon Rim east
of Payson. See the Chevelon Canyon hike description at
Hike Arizona.
We will not be going as far as is described in the HikeAZ hike description. Length of the hike will be decided by the group. I plan to keep bushwhacking and boulder hopping to a minimum. If it gets too rough or looks like rain, we turn back. Bring sandals for creek crossings and plenty of drinking water. Also mosquito repellant would be a good idea. |
