Arizona Trailblazers Hiking Club
Silly Mountain Day Hike
when Trip Report : February 28, 2022
where Superstition Wilderness
the hike     Silly Mountain Park, which is not on your list. Not difficult, but still need hiking boots. Good for newbies. It has several ups and downs with pretty views. It will not be too busy on a Monday.
Free parking. Rustic toilet if I remember right. I will go out there soon to make sure.
It says 2 miles here but we will try an extra loop to get at least 3 miles. There are many shorter in and out trails too. Could call this exploratory with no risk of getting lost
10 minute Ham radio demonstration at the top of the hill. I’m going to get into the Usery repeater or maybe San Tan or Queen Creek. Mount Ord would be a fun challenge.
    See Alltrails description.
Remember to have your emergency contact info with you and your (or who you ride with) vehicle type & license plate number. Bring water and hiking boots.
