| the hike | There are 3 main loops in this park, all moderate. Two of the loops ascend to the mountain tops, while the 3rd loop mostly travels near the bottom of the mountain. Take your pick, or try all 3! In any event, we all start and end the hike from the park’s Amphitheater. Thunderbird Conservation Park is a 1,185-acre park in the Hedgpeth Hills, named for Robert Hedgpeth, an early homesteader in the area. |
