Coyote Trail Day Hike

where McDowell Sonoran Preserve, Scottsdale
the hike     Join us to enjoy the gift from Mother Nature about Crested and Knotty Saguaros on the trail. We’ll also find out why this trail get its name.
    The trail is mostly flat: some ups and downs but not much elevation gain.
    Hike the Bootlegger Trail to the Coyote Trail, then hike the Dove Valley Trail, 136th Express Trail back to Granite Mountain Trailhead.
Required:
•  Sturdy hiking boots
•  At least 2 liters of water
•  Hat, sunblock, sunglasses

meet 8:00 AM at Granite Mountain Trailhead. The Granite Mountain Trailhead is expected to remain open for public use during construction, however parking may be temporarily redirected at times.
drive
•  Take Loop 101 to Pima Road, Exit 36.
Go north on Pima Road 7 miles to Dynamite Blvd.
Turn right and go east on Dynamite 8 miles to 136th
Turn left and go north on 136th, 2 miles to Granite Mountain Trailhead.
