Enjoy a variety of natural and urban vistas on this 6 mile hike on the Christiansen
Trail in north Phoenix. The hike will proceed eastbound from the Phoenix North
Mountain Visitor Center with a variety of terrains, changing grades, two tunnels,
two moderate climbs, and a mixture of urban and natural vistas.
Then, from the turnaround point, it will follow a somewhat different route back to
the Visitor Center.
We’ll take snack and catch-up breaks but no lengthy lunch break. We should be back at the trailhead before noon. For a map, click here and here. Fresh water and flush toilets are available at the Visitor Center. Bring: • At least 3 liters of water • Sturdy hiking boots • Hiking poles • Sunscreen • Camera |
