Experience the lush beauty of the Upland Sonoran Desert at Arizona’s oldest
and largest botanical garden. With spectacular views of Picketpost Mountain, Boyce
Thompson Arboretum (BTA) is located in scenic Queen Creek Canyon, just 30 minutes
from Mesa, Arizona.
This will be a quick hike at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum. It is a $25 per person entry fee and
you can stay after to enjoy the exhibits. We can also have a potluck brunch there if
anyone is interested. We will walk about 3.5 miles on the hike.
Most trails are wheelchair, but a few are rock and narrow. Some trails have stairs
