Cottonwood/Cane Canyon Loop Day Hike

where Mazatzal Mountains
the hike     On this hike we head south down Cottonwood Wash about 2 miles to waypoint “C8”. Leave the wash and head up Cane Spring Canyon to waypoint “C1”. The section from”C7” to “C5” is a repeat (see Seucito Canyon report). We may even find a lost camera near “C5”.
    From “C5” to “R1” will be challenging and new to yours truly. When we arrive at “J5”, hike a road back to the trailhead. Come prepared. See Map.

7:00 AM in the parking lot of the Target Center on the south side of Shea Blvd., about a mile west of Highway 87 (Beeline). For those leaving their cars behind, please park up against the north curb away from Starbuck’s.
  All carpooling needs to be done before we all get together at SR87 and Bush Hwy (west area) at 7:30.
