Hackberry Spring to Canyon Lake Day Hike

when? Saturday, March 13, 2010
where? Superstition Wilderness
the hike     With the winter rain, we’ll be seeing a bit o’ the green on this hike and lots of blooming things! Take a roundabout route by Hackberry Spring and an Indian ruin to connect with the Second Water and Boulder Canyon trails on the one-way journey. Wet feet are possible, as are stunning views of Battleship Mountain, Geronimo Head, Cholla Ridge, and Sonoran springtime splendor! Come prepared for miles of natural rock gardens – and some fancy footwork, if you want to stay dry at the stream crossings.
No auto shuttle: two parties will start from opposite directions and meet in the middle for lunch and exchange of car keys. We must have at least 4 people.
