| the hike |
Peak 3108 offers spectacular views of the southern high country of the
Goldfields and the colorful Bulldog Canyon wilderness. Climb to the peak
by way of Bulldog Saddle and take a walk on the wild side as you traverse
the ridgeline. Bail out into Bulldog Canyon to finish the hike amid colorful
Miocene lava flows in the saguaro-palo verde forest. Long pants, long sleeves, and gloves recommended. Bring your camera. This hike is described in Goldfield Mountain Hikes by Ted Tenny, Gem Guides, 2006, pages 39-43. |
