We descend 1,150’ in 2 miles before we turn around and regain the elevation we just lost. Upon reaching the National Trail again, we head east for one mile, crossing the road to descend the Kiwanis Trail to the trailhead, where we connect with the Las Lomitas trail and return to Ranger Trailhead where we started.
