| the hike |
Summer time, and the hikin’ is easy on the Mogollon Rim east of
Promontory Butte. We’ll enjoy the breeze and sweeping panoramas of
the Rim Vista Trail, then return through the forest on the Military
Sinkhole Trail and the General Crook Trail.

7:00 AM in the parking lot of the Target Center on the south
side of Shea Blvd., about a mile west of Highway 87 (Beeline).
For those leaving their cars behind, please park up against
the north curb away from Target.
