This will be a three trip in the scenic Huachuca Mountains of
southern Arizona and a brand new experience for the Arizona Trailblazers.
Please see information below for Sierra Vista accommodations. It is about an 4 hour drive to Sierra Vista Hike 1 Fri 10-24-25 Montezuma Pass TH to Mexico Border Meet up at 1:00PM at the Montezuma Pass TH 3.8 miles in and out AEG 900ft Leader John and Greg Hike 2 Sat 10-25-25 Montezuma Pass TH to Miller Peak Meet up at 8:30AM at the Montezuma Pass TH 10.4 miles in and out AEG 2500ft to the spur trail only no peak AEG 3000ft to the peak including spur trail Leader John and Greg Hike 3 Sun 10-26-25 Canelo Hills Pass TH to Meadow Valley Meet up at 8:30 at the Canelo Hills Pass TH 5.4 miles in and out AEG 775ft Leader Greg On Sunday after the hike, we head for home. NOTE: For those people who do not wish to camp, but would still like to join us for this trip, please check here for accommodations in nearby Sierra Vista. From Ray Road drive southeast on I-10 toward Tucson.
From Tucson continue SE on I-10 to State Route 90. This is the exit just before Benson
From this exit head south to Sierra Vista.
